HUNNIC TRIBES, Alchon Huns. Adomano, Mid-late 5th century. Dinar (Electrum, 33 mm, 7.02 g), uncertain mint in Bactria. Kushano-Sasanian style figure standing left on ground line, wearing crown with ribbons and surmounted by crescent with rosette and ribbons, sacrificing at altar and holding trident; to left, trident standard; to right, tamgha. Rev. Ardoxsho enthroned facing (largely indistinct). Alram, Alchon 29 (Khingila). Göbl, Dokumente Em. 85 (Khingila). Struck from the usual heavily worn reverse die, otherwise, very fine.
